I really like the 'hash browns' at McD's, but don't go there often. Been seeing something similar in the store frozen section, so got a package.

Not quite as good, but very acceptable. Fry in a pan with enough oil to cover and they crisp up nice. Then throw a couple of eggs into the oil for a real fried egg.

I've tried the store brought hash browns, but tried spraying with oil and air frying. NOT the same! I'd forgotten about them. I may try your method tomorrow.

I've been ill and today is the first day I've eaten since Monday or Tuesday, so I had mashed potatoes and plain scrambled eggs. After fasting for that long, even my saltines and milk that I nibbled on throughout the night were delicious. 😆

I had scrambled eggs with ham, and a slice of seedy toast with farmer's market strawberry preserves. :yum:

I asked McD's once if they would sell me a box of sausage patties and they did...

🤔 Next time I go there going to ask to buy box of hash brown patties...

Fried eggs are meant to be fried in bacon grease!!
You are absolutely right. Next time the hash browns too, followed by the eggs!
