BREAKING NEWS: Arrest made in Saddam video case

An adviser to the Iraqi prime minister told NBC News on Wednesday that the person who made the mobile phone video of Saddam Hussein’s execution has been arrested.

“The person who filmed the execution process has been arrested. ... Now he is under interrogation about the goals of his filming,” said the adviser, speaking on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to talk to the media. “He was arrested by Iraqi forces.”

The official would not identify the person or provide further details. But he said it was “an official who supervised the execution” and who is “now under investigation.”

I really have no opinion about the video except to say that the editted (official) version we were provided lends itself to those that would doubt whether Saddam was truly executed. This video gives actual proof to any naysayers.

The biggest problem with all this is the secretarian remarks made... It's a problem that that got out. It goes to show nobody wants peace in Iraq and this exposes that Iraq truly is a civil war.
