Where are all those kids everyone is bitching about? Some wild sh!t going on 4.3 million government credit cards with 2.3 million employees.
Just turned to CNN who is now upset because they didn’t see any kids in that interview. Can’t make them happy - 1st they were bitching about the kids doing all the DOGE work now they are bitching that the kids aren’t really part of DOGE.

But yeah, I caught that about those credit cards as well - two credit cards for every government employee. I guess they each have one for personal expenses and one for government expenses….

Pretty much every DoD employee has a travel card they are required to use for travel expenses, unsure about other agencies, but I can't imagine some of them ever have to go on travel.

The other cards, hard to believe, my division is about 100 and there are three card holders for purchases so three cards. Most other people I know in other groups have a similar number of rank and file that has to go through one maybe two purchasers for their division.

Id love to see the breakdown of non-travel cards.

I think you're going to find the real issue with P. Cards is outside of DOD in the so to speak real civilian agencies. Maybe every third person in HUD has one. Hell some folks in State might have two to three of the damn things

Totally agree with that, especially with HUD, was sentenced there for 10+ years, dregs of the government.

Just can't imagine wtf they use them for. With us it's aircraft aluminum, mil spec connectors, etc.
And we have bought industrial pneumatic and electrical hardware for an I level standup effort. And everything bought on one needs like two verifications that it mission essential and two approvals. But I suspect there are places where it's not so closely monitored.
