Bet that taught herAK-74me said:Here is what I found out.
It involved a domestic dispute, the couple had an ex parte against each other. The guy decides he is gonna kill himself and wants the girl to watch so she knows she is responisible for it. So he kidnaps her, ties her up and takes her up on the bridge to watch him jump off.
The jumper also may have some relation to a Calvert cop, not sure about that yet though.

He was covered in crabs so they're planning on finding him again tomorrow.

protectmd said:Apparently if this isn't the first person who has jumped over the side of that bridge, you would think that the state would implement some sort of fence or whatever to make it more difficult to jump over the side of that bridge. It seems to me that the high point on that bridge is very attractive to the crazies out there to make their statement using the past history of jumping as case and point here. I think they need to redo that bridge anyway so you know perhaps that would be a good time to put some sort of jumper prevention up there.
Does anyone remember a few years ago when they had that clown who was going to jump from the woodrow wilson bridge and he had teh cops at bay for like a couple of hours.... someone played Van Halen "Jump" across the police radio (they weren't sure if the would be jumper heard it)?![]()
You again!!!If they want to jump, let them jump :shrug:protectmd said:Apparently if this isn't the first person who has jumped over the side of that bridge, you would think that the state would implement some sort of fence or whatever to make it more difficult to jump over the side of that bridge. Ok
yeah, what she said.CMC122 said:Jumper prevention?Ok
If someone wants to jump off the bridge they're going to do it no matter what is in place. Crap, if they put a fence up someone will probably sue them for it being to high, or to low or for impeding their suicide attempt.
That is one of the dumbest things I've seen posted here. What is the state going to do, have everyone live in a bubble? Make all bridges and buildings 10 feet tall so nobody can jump off?protectmd said:you would think that the state would implement some sort of fence or whatever to make it more difficult to jump over the side of that bridge.
It is not the Golden Gate.MMDad said:That is one of the dumbest things I've seen posted here. What is the state going to do, have everyone live in a bubble? Make all bridges and buildings 10 feet tall so nobody can jump off?
The bridge didn't cause this person to suicide. It was just the means he chose. What's next, outlaw razor blades, knives, cars, rope, and prescription drugs so that peoplle can't kill themselves?

Exactly, no more information than was put here. :shrug:RoseRed said:He probably found that info here.![]()
