Bring karma back

This poll is to vote for whether or not karma should be brought back. To the Newbies who weren't here when the forum had karma you don't know what you were missing. Lots of hurt feelings and good times.

Edit** If you are from the post Karma era then you must vote to bring karma back. I'm not telling you how to vote so don't go calling the ACLU, the NAACP, The Rainbow Coalition, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Jesse Jackson Jr, The New Black Panther Party, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, Students Against Drunk Driving, Your Priest, Doctor, Lawyer, Fetishist, Publicist, Masochist, Sadist, Manicurist, Podiatrist, Polygamist or your mommy on me.

I like the Post-centric Liking system, rather than the User-centric Karma system.

The karma system simply maxed out the karma for popular posters, and non-frequent posters and people who are vocal about their leftist politics floundered in karmic obscurity or shot straight to max-negative.

Liking posts is much fairer, IMO. I would suggest adding a "Dislike" button, but I think that would be abused way worser* than karma ever was.











*Yeah, I said "worser"...

I'm surprised that only 52% of voters want to bring karma back. I was expecting this number to be much higher. I always had red karma and I never knew why.

I agree with Tox - the Like system is better. Positive instead of negative. We all know who'd be deep in the red anyway.

I've mellowed a bit and might be green sometimes. What do you think about adding the dislike option ?
