Brokeback Bucks?

A farmer came into our office this morning and brought us a photo his deer cam caught. The picture is of two bucks. I took this pic with my phone, so you can't see it too clearly, but they are definitely both bucks. :lmao: So now nobody can say homosexuality isn't 'natural.'

:lmao: Yeah, but at least the one on top was probably trying to get to the doe.

True.........it's hard to say what was out of the picture you have, the doe may have just gotten loose.

it's not just dogs, it's most male mammals

From http://www.extension.iastate.edu/Publications/PM1302G.pdf

Deer display their dominance toward subordinate
animals through aggressive behavior.
For example, a dominant buck may make a
scrape in front of a smaller buck. If dominance
is tested, two bucks will engage in a sparring
match, using their antlers as weapons. Three
vocalizations—grunts, snorts, and wheezes—are
associated with aggressive behaviors and are
made by both males and females. These
vocalizations often are accompanied by
posturing threats.

 I don't see anything about mounting.

While I figure its just a dominance thing, there is a small chance that the deer on the bottom was a doe with antlers. It is rare, but not uncommon.
