Can anyone recommend a browser change or update for my 8830 Crackberry that will work with SOMD and Comcast? I have all options turned on with the provided browser and it still has problem with inline frames...

I have played around a bit, and these are the settings I prefer for my CrackBerry 8830 settings - I use the standard BlackBerry Browser - no add-in.
Forums.SOMD.com display fine - not sure about Comcast.Net - some framed pages still get a bit dicked up, but I deal with it as I know what I need to get.
BTW - Google Maps now use the embedded GPS in the Verizon BlackBerry's.
Browser Config -
- All items checked EXCEPT for Support JavaScript and Support Embedded media
- Show Images: On WML & HTML Pages
- Emulation Mode - BlackBerry
General Properties -
Everything in here is what you want them to be (font, font size...) I will give you my settings;
- Default Font Family - BBAlpha Sans
- Default Font Size - 8
- Min Fint Size - 6
- Min font Style - Plain
Here is what I customized;
- Default View - Column
- Enable Cursor in Column View - CHECKED
- Everything else below the above is unchecked, EXCEPT for Closing Modified Pages (that is checked)
Cache Properties -
I left mine alone...
