Brunch

Wanted something just a bit different for brunch today, so I tried this:

I didn't take any pictures, because it came out looking just like the article. It was a nice change up. A bit more work than usual, but if you have company over it's a nice presentation. I'd do this again for sure, maybe add something to the whites.

We went to Hy-Vee, which is an uber-grocery store, for breakfast buffet. I can say honestly that this was the best I've ever had (yes, at a grocery store). I had cheesy eggs, thick cut bacon, hash brown casserole, prime rib, and fresh fruit (including kiwi and berries), and there was also muffins, desserts, biscuits and gravy, chicken cordon bleu, fish, corn on the cob, and a bunch of other stuff.
