Feeling your pain right now. Great road for privacy, etc...but sucks in this weather. About 1/3 mile of single lane blacktop and some blustone area closest to the house with several West Virginia style hills/curves thrown in. It can be entertaining watching people coming to visit the neighbors or us even in good weather. I once watched a SMECO van slide down a hill on the ice and roll on its side into the ravine. Tree stopped it from going any further. Can't tell you how many times we've had to pull Amazon trucks out of the ditch because they thought they could do a u-turn on a grassy slope in the mud
Had a friend of mine - who moved a way a couple years back - whose driveway was this narrow conduit to his home, a nice house carved into an otherwise heavily wooded area.
Almost every winter, a tree would fall across his driveway.
