Well ..it's about time. How naive to think that the Turks , a very martial but patient people, would stand by much longer and let their soldiers and people take hits from parties running over a border and saying "nyahnyah nyah". Now, are we going to stand in their way ? I don't think that would be very smart but then a lot of what we have done in the past hasn't been wise at all.
Reminds me of the outcry against Israel when they launched their punitive operations into Lebanon in the 80s.in response to rocket attacks on the civilians. Too bad Lebanese civilians got hurt in the process , but the lebanese had been informed that this situation could not continue , and sooner or later , Israeli patience would end. Forewarned, the Lebanese government claimed that they couldn't rein in the Palestinians within their midst, but that they would resist any incursions on Lebanese "sovereignity". The Israelis reacted swiftly and had it not been for universal condemnation, probably would have rid the world of future problems.
I think we should stand aside when the Turks do their thing.
