You mean he didn't creep you out? Were there any of those heebeejeebees that came over you before you spotted him? He has that ghastly effect on some. You know someone weird is around you just can't tell who...

I met him many years ago when I worked for Pepco. We had a work order that a meter wasn't registering any usage. As it turned out, the meter was fine and with him being out of town so much it never got used.

He's a nice guy and if you ever get a chance, read his book.

I would have loved to talked to him. I have the utmost respect for the man.

Hubby used to do landscaping work for him. His wife used to have about 100 cats! He really is a nice guy. We used to go fishing down at Fort Foote, and one time a friend of ours took our Son with her to the store for sodas. They "ran" into G Gordon jogging and she stopped to say hi. He ended up talking to our son for quite a while, and told her he was a neat kid. I still don't know exactly what they talked about, but evidently, Son held his own!! He was only 7 or 8 at the time.

Cool. What was it in regards to?

The 2nd Amendment. It was during the Million Mom March days. I was on the opposing side. I wasn't the most brilliant interviewee. I was a bit awestruck so I had a hard time putting a coherant thought together. But I did okay and didn't make a complete fool of myself.

Well, good for you. I hope he was nice to you. I can imagine that he could be a little intimidating on that subject.
