I was at a loss for dinner so I made up something:

Minced 1/2 fresh onion
1/2 C chopped mushrooms
2 Tspn minced fresh garlic
a goodly dose of Worchestershire

2 Lbs 75% ground beef

Mixed all except the beef together

mixed in the beef

set in fridge for 2-3 hours

made 1/2 lb patties

Cooked on grill slowly

Transferred to baking pan

covered each patty with 2 slices swiss cheese

spooned marinara (bottled) over each

placed in preheated 350 oven for 15 minutes

served on a plate with no bun and a side of pasta.

Soma##### it was GREAT!

I might go for leaner beef as a personal preference, but it looks like you came up with a dynamite recipe!

That sounds a lot like how I make my meatloaf, except adding bread crumbs, a beaten egg and crumbled up bacon. I use the 93/7 ground beef, hardly any grease if any when it's done cooking.
