My son is fine and my c/s case is closed. But still I think Princess has another point. That persons not like me just want to help their own personal children and the fact that other local kids go to school in fire box trailer classrooms does not matter to them. For me, I am trying to help all of the children.

Wouldnt it be less expensive to install better fire monitoring systems, sprinkling systems, and more training for teachers than to build a whole new school/add -ons?

Below is the link for St. Mary's county Board of Education FY2007 budget to purchase $350,000. worth of NEW local relocatable trailer purchases, proposed for Fiscal Year (FY) 2007.

Is that what the FY 2007 BOE budget says for capital improvement?

Try again dipshit. Per your linked information, it says on various line items $226K + $85K + $350.2K + $734K + $153K for a total of $1.5482 million that has been allocated to purchase relocatable classrooms of which only $295.2K will come from the state.

So where did you pull the $350K fact from, out of your ass? Or is it like everything else you try to talk about, you only give it a cursory glance and then claim to be all knowing?

Why so much for relocatables? Well renovating/expanding Leonardtown Elementary School will eat up the biggest chunk (over $1 million) as we can't just redistribute those kids to other schools as it would cause severe space, logistical and transportation problems while the school is being worked on. So bringing in relocatable classrooms makes sense from many standpoints. Anyone but a total idiot could see that.

What about funding for relocatables in the future years Jimmy-boy? Notice that there is no state funding for future relocatable expenditures it’s only local budgeting and only to the tune of $153K per year. I wonder why that is? Oh, maybe it’s because of the construction of several new schools designed to correct for the population growth while holding a little in reserve incase we need to once again use one or two of these type facilities.
