Bus 577

Traveling on Rt. 235 North on the way to work this morning, I was behind Bus 577. Evidently the driver was sleepy - or something! - , was having a hard time staying in his lane. The bus was one of those full-sized, flat faced busses. Anyway, the bus was in the left lane and kept using half of the lane next to it as well. It turned down Buck Hewitt road finally, and I breathed a sigh of relief...Good luck to whomever this bus carries or meets on the road.....

I've had to complain about our driver at least twice this year b/c of cell phone usage. I realize that they are required to have the cell phone provided by the county for use on the bus, but it's been obvious both times that she was just chatting it up with a friend both times - oh, and she looks all of 17 years old.

I hope whoever drives that bus, or has kids on it sees this post and becomes more aware...

She's been reported twice by me, and the people in the neighborhood are aware that I called her in. In fact, I think a few of them have called her in for the same reason.

I have heard it is really hard to find drivers. Guess that's why...
