Bush in the No-Spin Zone

Not bad...not bad.

On the Iraq question, I kept waiting for Bush to say, "Then we'll kick their ass" but obviously he's not going to say something like that.

You have to admire Bush - for all the Democrats say he lies and whathaveyou, I find him refreshingly straightforward. He seems to honestly believe in what he's doing and I find that a helluva lot more comforting than some guy who can't figure out what he thinks from one day to the next.

I thought it was good. I'm like you, he certainly seems comfortable in speaking his mind, right or wrong. But he's firm in his convictions and I like that.

I thought he was pretty straightforward with his answers. I like what he said about why he visited the troops on that aircraft carrier.

Calm and confident, and yet he had some humor about him as well.

A man comfortable with himself, is what I saw.
