Bush's Visit to Europe

After watching the news about Bush's tour of Europe, and meetings with various leaders, I find it amusing that so many in the media see this trip as Bush trying to kiss and make-up with Euro trash leaders. I read a piece on Drudge this morning about the Chirac "snub" of Bush by speaking French at a dinner... as if Bush's attempts at making up with France were a failure.

I wonder of it ever occurred to these media types that Bush's trip isn't about making up with these clowns, but rather a victory lap after the elections?

I think Bush should insult them politely in Spanish.
