Buying a bicycle

My daughter turns 7 tomorrow. Wants a new bike. Her other bike is 16" and the seat is up as high as it can go. We thought about going to Toys R Us today to check them out. The only thing I see being an issue is only the 20" bikes and up come with a kickstand. 18" still has training wheels. I'm not sure which size she'll need. I imagine I could buy a kickstand to put on the bike myself if needed? Any info or advice?

Take her to Toys R Us with you and she can try out different ones in the store. That's what we did when we last bought my son a bike. One of the guy working there was really helpful in suggesting various bikes.

They call me ... Sarcasmo
Kickstand?:killingme It'll get used for the first month (by her) then for the rest of the life of the bike by you when you pick it up out the front yard, from behind the car etc.

I hear ya there,. They do at least make it back into the garage but are usually leaned up against something in there.

She found one she liked at Toys R Us. We were trying to stear her in the direction of getting a bike that didn't have characters on it. Didn't work. Oh well. She's excited and Daddy's putting it together as we speak.
