A very sad weekend for us. We lost another one of our pack.
Bowie came to us in 98. After being rescued from a bad scene in PG county she crossed paths with my wife at the Calvert Humane Society. Deemed unadoptable she was one of the many misfits to come through our doors but she left a lasting impression. Although we have more dogs than most, there's still an empty space in the house that will be felt for a long long time.
She was laid next to her best friend Buddy who left us about 2 years ago.

R.I.P. baby girl.

I get more emotional with a pets death than a persons any more and I haven't owned a pet in many years. Landlord had to put his two down about three years ago and it tore me up.

When the vet said there was nothing he could do except prolong the inevitable I lost it worse then my wife did. We could have brought her home for a little while longer but couldn't stand the thought of her suffering.

Bowie, Buddy and Frenchie have all passed on.

So sorry to hear...dosen't matter how many, they all leave us with wonderful memories; focus on them to get you though the rough spots.

We just recently had to let go of one of our loved ones of 14 years.
