Are there any cake supply stores in the area? I need a tub of black fondant and Michaels only has a assorted color pack with a small amount in it. :howdy:

I don't know if they still do, but Bowes books on Great mills rd. used to carry cake supplies.

I would try to make my own if I needed a different color. I'm afraid if I did it would turn out grey instead of black. :roflmao:

You just add lots of black. It will turn black.

But you can call Cakes and Things in Waldorf, its next to Borders.

And DON"T USE Wiltons fondant.......wet cardboard would turn out better

Cakes-n-Things in Waldorf might have it. I'm pretty sure you can dye fondant if you can't find black.
