I found my kids in my daughters room quietly playing. Seems my daughter thought it would be a good idea to get some body lotion and lotion herself, her younger brother and every single stuffed animal she owns - as well as the entirety of a v-tech learning toy her brother was quietly playing with (yes, he was covered in lotion and didn't seem to mind). UHG! Did I mention she also lotioned, the blankets, sheets, pillow, comforter...and then told me, "Momma it's all o.k. we can go in the sun now." I guess in her mind all lotion is sunscreen...

sounds better than when my son "lotioned" himself and everything in sight. It wasn't lotion, it was vasoline. You know how hard that was to get out of carpet?

Two positive things will come out of this:

In a few weeks (or once all the plushies and linens are clean) you will be coveying this tale with a giggle.

And you now have a story you can embarass her with in Middle School. I can't begin to tell you how valuable that is.

Dare I admit - most is already clean...super washed most of it already. Some of it's in the dryer the rest is washing...

I'd have been shopping for new carpet, as I have no idea how one gets vaseline out of carpet. How did you do it?

Last nite on America's Funniest Video the winner was a little boy who had put Desitin all over his baby brother's face because his brother had a spot on his face! It was a priceless picture!

My little one has learned to preface every single thing with the response "nothing" when asked what she is doing. Couple weeks back PT witnessed how much a near full bottle of hand soap will suds up when washing your hands for a couple minutes! :killingme
