How old are you? When I was 16 I was still living with my parents (neither one are big on seafood) but I had a job and a car. If I wanted lobster I could have had lobster.

Well ya know, it is cheaper to go to Giant and have them steam it for you, rather than go out to a restaurant for it. :shrug:

But I as much as I like lobster, I personally find it to be highly over priced. :shrug: That is why I have decided to someday spend a couple grande on a week long vacation to Maine so I can finally enjoy lobster without cringing when I see the price.

Another thing, not that I really was in the environment where lobster was on the menu (AZ,VA, overseas), it was always implied that it was an "adult" food, and us kids always stuck to grilled cheese and corndogs at restaurants.

My five year old and I share crab legs and crab cakes and she always has to pick at my lobster. But if she wants a hot dog instead, so be it.
