Thanks for the link. We've already checked out this website. I just need to know where I should take the car to get a new convertible roof repaired or installed.

If you got the money, just bring it to the dealer. They will probably give you some type of warranty with the work, or at least a gaurantee...

If you don't, I would try looking up places that do Jeep tops and the like, probably more of those being done around these parts than Miatas...

I had my dealer replace the roof under warranty.

As far as service, the Miata usually has VERY few problems and the ones it has are usually very specific to Miatas. After a not-so-good experience with a mechanic who didn't know anything about Miatas, I found it easier to figure it out myself. There's a great book, full of pictures, that tells you how to tear apart and re-build the car (can't think of the name of the book but it's not the standard ones for all cars - chitlins or whatever they're called; this book was only made for Miatas and is much better than the average car repair book). Join the Miata club, talk to folks, and you'll find there are only a handful of things that usually need to be done. At that point, you can either do it yourself or bring it most anywhere and let them know exactly what you want them to do.

One more thing - about the roof. You should consider whether you need an entirely new roof or if you just want the window replaced if it's clouding or cracked. It'll cost you about $500 for a new roof but quite a bit less to just replace the window. I had a patent pending for a replacement Miata window because I could not find a way to buy just the window (without replacing the whole roof). If you want to try it yourself, I can give you a zipper and some guidance on how it could be done. But I haven't put anything into production and don't have a replacement window set to give you.

My Cousin Has a 65 Chevelle that needed a new top. He got that and the entire car restored from Adams Fleet Service.

Unfortunately, my dealer was in Brooklyn (Plaza Mazda). I had a 1991 Miata, my SIL still has her 1990 Miata. She's in Tampa though and that doesn't help you much either - sorry.
