Today I got a later start. I wore fishing gloves to help me tolerate the cold better. In 3 hours I landed 11 trout and missed 2 other hits. 9 trout hit a super duper lure while the other 2 were taken with a hare's ear nymph. There was a bit of skim ice on the water at 9am. No frozen lines today. There were 6 other people fishing and around 20 fish were caught while I was there. A bunch of those fish ended up on stringers and will probably be swimming in hot oil tonight.
There should be fish for a few more days before they get fished out entirely. Get there sooner than later before the weekend rush.
