I have not read the book being discussed, BUT, if they are pitching PORN to anyone, let alone K-12 students, this is dead wrong. Porn is poison.

Apparently, it was picked up somehow by the Libs of TikTok. It's being shared all over the place on local social media, as well. The parent read an excerpt of the book in the last Board of Education meeting. (links of which are available thru Calvert County's BOE website)

There is a local page on FB of Calvert County Parents where it's been discussed, among all the other issues with the school system. (I've shared this page elsewhere on the forums over the last year)
