Calvert 'Co Meet' TG

I was monitoring the Calvert TRS this morning and on TG 'Fire Co Meet' #2480 I heard a man say that they can't use the old frequency they used to use for talking and they have to use this one now. It sounded like some sort of Utility, Maintenance, or Public Works talk when they used the TG several times today.

Does anyone know who or why this useless chatter was sent over to the Calvert Fire Frequencies and do you know how long they will continue to use it.

COMEET is not just for Fire/Rescue/EMS units. This channel is programmed in ALL radios on Calvert's system. We use this for organizing large events that require communication with several county agencies, such as county roads, SO, Bus Service, and so on.
