He was drag racing another deputy and a deer stepped into the path of his cruiser. He took evasive action and lost control of his vehicle. Stuff Happens:shrug:
Look at the number of posts on your profile for above (666) the devil must have prompted you to post that BS
I am the Devil
It was a pretty bad accident, from what we heard on the scanner as well. I do know that they had to remove the dash, or cut back the dash in order to get the officer out. I do know the CS number for the sheriff, but don't know the name of the officer that was flown out. We would like to know as well if everything is ok with the officer. We listened from first call in to helo lifting off.
No just an ignorant #######
From what I could gather it sounded pretty bad. Do you know what caused the accident? Wasn't sure if it involved a drag race or a deer, etc. Sending thoughts and prayers to the family for a speedy recovery!
He had his family with him too?
No, just praying for all involved that he has a speedy recovery.

They took off the roof and doors and rolled the dash. A pretty common thing when you have a trapped person. It gives the ems people more room to work and the can get the person out easier with less chance of further injury.
He had a leg injury with possible L.O.C.
Not sure if people have a general hatred of police or just Calvert county deputies but he was not drag racing. Can't release his name but his wife was taken to the hospital to be with him and he is recovering.
