If they have tap to pay that won't get caught by a skimmer. Problem is half the pumps that have it don't have it turned on.Noted on Fakebook, are reports of gas pump skimmers. WaWa and a few Fasttop's have been reported. Better to just go inside and pay at the register.
Yeah I generally almost always use the tap to pay either my phone or the card.If they have tap to pay that won't get caught by a skimmer. Problem is half the pumps that have it don't have it turned on.
I got caught by one at the beginning of the month at Sheetz. I always check to see if there’s anything stuck to the machine, but apparently this was inside of it. It was easy to figure out where it was picked up at, the card has only been used twice once in October and once in December. Two weeks later I’d bought $20K worth of flooringNoted on Fakebook, are reports of gas pump skimmers. WaWa and a few Fasttop's have been reported. Better to just go inside and pay at the register.
It amazes me that they supposedly have surveillance and yet criminals can make changes in full view of cameras.I got caught by one at the beginning of the month at Sheetz. I'll let the CC company fight that out with them since they are ultimately the ones that took the loss.It amazes me that they supposedly have surveillance and yet criminals can make changes in full view of cameras.
Beside that, they should be doing a check on their equipment to make sure it's in proper working order.
I'd consider holding the store liable as their negligence enables criminal action.
I wish they would bring back the 15 cent discount for using the appI have found activating the pump in the Wawa app to be convenient. Don't even need to pull out the wallet.
Gas Station (WaWa or Shitz) doesn't lose anything, all the other vendors got ripped off.I'll let the CC company fight that out with them since they are ultimately the ones that took the loss.
Maybe it's their's like checks going missing in the post office. It amazes me that they supposedly have surveillance and yet criminals can make changes in full view of cameras.
