Calvert School of Dance vs. Julie Rogers Studio

O.k. Dance moms - which studio do you prefer? Calvert School of Dance or Julie Rogers Studio of Dance? I am not looking to slam either - but I am trying to decide whether to stay or go...

Thoughts?

Please I only need info from dance moms....our daughters are important to us.

Don't expect to get an honest answer from the St.Mary's county trolls. As A Calvert Countian, I can only tell you that my daughter and granddaughter did great at the Julie Rogers School. Am I prejudiced,yes, but the proof is in what I saw from them. I don't think you will go wrong there.

I'm glad you asked this question - we are looking at dance schools for next year as well (St. Mary's or Calvert)

What ages do they start to take the kids? My daughter is 4 and would like to do some tap but I'm not sure if they start that young. How does pricing compare between the schools?

I've heard good things about Bunny Bailey's school of dance too - anyone have experiences with them?

I'd love to hear info on all of them!

My daughter has attended here for about 7 years. I highly recommend it.

Bunny Bailey is wonderful although she doesnt allow the kids to start tap until they are 5 they can start ballett at 3

Just go to whatever school DanceMom doesn't goto and you will be safe. The only good decision she ever made was to marry me. Sadly that is also the only bad decision I have ever made.

Abigail Francisco School of Classical Ballet has classes at Annmarie Garden in Solomons (Dowell) and in North Beach.
