During the week of August 29, 2022 – September 4, 2022, deputies of the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office responded to 1,512 calls for service throughout the community.

Damaged Property: 22-49577


On August 29, 2022, Deputy Strong responded to the 600 block of Burr Oak Court in Prince Frederick for the report of maliciously damaged property. The complainant advised an unknown suspect (s) keyed the victim’s vehicle in the overnight hours. The estimated value of the damaged property is $800.

Property Destruction: 22-49907

On August 30, 2022, Deputy Tavares received report of a theft. The complainant advised his left rear truck tire was slashed while parked in the parking lot of the Giant Food store located at 11740 Rousby Hall Road in Lusby, following a road rage incident. The estimated value of the damaged property is $300.

Damaged Property: 22-50960

On September 4, 2022, Deputy Shoemaker responded to the 1500 block of Lilac Road in St. Leonard, for the report of damaged property. The complainant advised the driver’s side rear window of her vehicle had been busted out sometime during the night. Nothing appears to have been moved or stolen. The estimated value of the damaged property is $800.

Property Destruction: 22-50271

On September 1, 2022, M/DFC Flynt responded to the 6000 block of Gordon Drive in Sunderland, for the report of property destruction. The complainant advised sometime between August 30 and September 1, an unknown suspect (s) shot up the victim’s vehicle with a BB gun. Several BBs were collected at the scene. The estimated value of the damaged property is unknown at this time.

Property Destruction: 22-50975

On September 4, 2022, Deputy Lee responded to the 3000 block of Ashwood Road in Dunkirk, for the report of property destruction. The complainant advised sometime between 5 p.m. on Sept. 3 and 11 a.m. on Sept. 4, a shed and a stone retaining wall on the victim’s property had been spray-painted with graffiti. The estimated value of the damaged property is $50.

Theft: 22-49783

On August 30, 2022, DFC Burgraff responded to the 1000 block of Adobe Drive in Lusby, for the report of a theft. The complainant advised sometime between 11 p.m. on Aug. 26 and 7 a.m. on Aug. 27, prescription medication was stolen from a vehicle parked outside the residence. The estimated value of the stolen property is $100.

Theft: 22-50130

On August 31, 2022, DFC Murphy received report of a theft that occurred in the 500 block of Carson Court in Lusby. The complainant advised sometime between Aug. 1 and Aug. 8, a refrigerator was stolen from the garage of the residence. The estimated value of the stolen property is $1,200.
