When I was in High School Calvert Towne was a good source of alot of trouble, but I THINK it has been cleaned up since then, not positive though...

I don't live too far from there. Want me to do a drive by? They added a nice development, Symphony Woods, behind the townhouses which I think helped to clean up the area. I had a friend who lived about 15 years ago and he moved but kept the place as a rental until a few years ago. A lot of them used to be rental places, I don't know if that's still true.

Out of curiousity, do you know anything about Chesapeake Heights? I found a cute Cape Cod there a couple blocks from the bay.

It's about 1 minute and a half from where I live. Not a bad neighborhood. Houses are a little close for me but there's not much trouble in there. My d-i-l's parents live there. Many of my kids' friends lived there when growing up. You buying or renting?

I'm buying. It's still relatively affordable and if it's that close to the water, it's a steal!

There's also a really cute cape in Dares Beach.
