Camper Awning

We recently had to replace our entire awning.
Arms and canvas due to a little mishap that we won't discuss......
Anywho, it is very easy to do ourselves, I ordered from a place in California, Shadepro, it is MUCH cheaper to do it this way.
The same awning locally was double the cost plus installation.

Shadepro is on ebay, find the awning you want, call them direct and tell them you want the ebay price. They will give it to you, it takes 3-5 days to arrive.

Did you install yourselves? Difficult? Our material has dry-rotted, the mechanism itself is fine. Not sure how to take care of getting just the new material & "put on".

Yes, get the brand name (our was Carefree) and on their website it tells you how to measure for the awning.

We're talking a matter of about 4 screws and takes two people minimum.
Unscrew the roller from the top of the arms and then unscrew the awning from the track at the roof line. The awning then slides out of the track, it moves surprisingly easy.

The new awning will come with the roller and the plastic piece needed to slide the new one in place. You do the same steps in reverse.

It should take all of about an hour and cost about 300., depending on the size.
