I just saw this on the news Biden talking about curing cancer. I've never heard of it so looked it up. Its a govt program he created in 2016 to spend up to $1.8 billion. The funding ends next year. Guess he wants the money to continue.

I think I heard him say we could reduce cancer deaths by 50% in 25 years.

Depending on what form of cancer - that’s already happened. The trend is downward. You could do nothing and meet THAT milestone.

When I was given the prognosis after my surgery for pancreatic cancer in June 2015, was given a 9% chance of making it past 5 years without recurrence.

This year's stats from the American Cancer Society, released early this year, that went up to 13%.
