About 8 1/2 hours ago on 14 May 2015, I received the pancreatic cancer diagnosis.
I had surgery 19 days later.
Saw my oncologist for the annual last Monday.

I am here because I felt something was off with my body.
I called my doc to get my annual 5 months early.
7 1/2 weeks after that physical, I had the diagnosis.
I am glad I said no to getting a second opinion when I had the surgical consult 1 week after diagnosis.
In the 19 days between getting the DX and the surgery, the tumor had grown from Stage IB to Stage IIB.
I did have chemo after.
