Was thinking about getting this for the Hubby. We checked it out at Best Buy last night and it seems wicked fast. It has a 15 mp which is awesome. The macro on it is unbelievable.

I have had the Canon EOS Rebel Xt (350D) for the past 4 years and have absolutely loved it. I am far, far from a professional and the camera does an amazing job of making the pictures I take look brilliant.

I can only imagine what the newer ones are like, I would say you can't go wrong. I have the regular lens that comes with it (35 - 55 I think) and purchased a 75 - 300mm lens as well. With those two lenses it has served me well. :yay:

You can't go wrong with Canon. I bought my first Canon (35mm) in 1972 while in South Korea.

More recently, I just sold an EOS XtI when I upgraded to a 7d.

Go for it...they are great cameras.
