They've done it before. They've stepped up because they realize no one player should have to carry the whole team.

I was telling Ott that this morning..he agreed. I hate to admit that though.
Yeah, they have only won 44 games with him and he has only 44 goals and 52 assists....

Don't get me wrong, I still want the guy on the ice because he's a dynamic player. However, when he's on the ice the center focus is on that guy. Sometimes the Caps can play team hockey and sometimes Ovi takes over.

It changes the game and the puck is spread around and the defenders don't know who to key on because all of them can and do score. You're no dummy, you can figure that out.

Even more so when Ovie is not in the line up. They step it up a notch, which is a good thing.
