Car meets??

Anyone know of a weekly car meet local to the lexington park/california area?? Ive heard bits and pueces here and there of some that go on friday nights at a certain parking lot around 830-ish but havent got a chance to check it out.

While it's not anywhere near there, I do know they have some sort of car meet in the parking lot near McDonald's in Dunkirk.

Unfortunately, it tends to be a bunch of spoiled high school aged kids.

Wednesday evenings March thru October there is a cruise in at the Leonardtown Center(near McKay's on Rt. 5).bring you car and lawn chair, and socialize.

And if you really want to make a splash, park in the spots closest to Rt.5 where the Vette guys park. They think they own those spots and their fanny packs will get in a bind if you park there.

The Philly Flash restaurant in Dunkirk was sort of hosting car meets on Saturday afternoons, starting around 4:00pm I believe, last year during the Summer. I made it there once and saw it happening a time or two as I was in the shopping center. Most of the folks there (when I saw it) were middle aged folks hanging out and chatting with each other. I hope we can get by this year to show off the Willys Pickup.

SoMD Mustang Club has Cars & Coffee every 1st Saturday of the month behind Burger King in Charlotte Hall. All Fords welcome. (0900-1130)
Berts in Mechanicsville has a Cars & Coffee every 1st Saturday of the month also. It's mostly Camaro's but open to all makes & models. (0900-?)

Car show season is fast approaching too!
