Car Ramps

I have discovered that the ramps I've been using to change the oil in my vehicles has an incline that is too steep for my new car. Anyone know where I can get some ramps that have a very gradual incline?

Not a flip answer: Try autozone. Look for the plastic ramps. I believe I saw some there that were low aproach angle.

low 5... hi 5......
Thanks, looked them up, 17 degree approach angle. Just wondering how that compares to the ones I have.

they have crazy degree of angles... what kinda car are you putting on the ramps ? I know lowered cars have no issues....

It is an 09 Camry which to my surprise has a very, very low front end.
Get a 2x12x12' board and cut (2) 48" pcs and (2) 24" pcs. Lay the 24" piece on top of the 48" piece aligning one end that will go against the Rhino ramp. The ends of the boards facing the car should be cut at the steepest angle that your saw will go so the car will roll onto the board and not push it. I'd explain it better with pictures but I gave my ramps away when I got a Quicklift. The ramps work with a Vette so the Camry might be able to just use the 48" board alone.

Try the Rhinos first. Then go with the boards if needed. My older set, I have a couple of 2X10 sections screwed together as mentioned above. Works great. But my cars really, really bad, with a long overhang and a low to the ground fascia. If your are some old school metal ones, then the Rhinos should work fine. Link is to a Google image search for Rhino Ramps. Shows them under a bunch of different vehicles, and in the packaging as youd see them in the store.

Chess, you never did tel me if they worked for your car without boards. Someday soon, I want you to bring them over so we can try them on mine, which I think is a worse case than yours. Or, next time I come by your place... now that my brain engages.
