Car Strikes Parked Fire Truck

WASHINGTON -- D.C. Fire and Emergency Medical Service officials said the driver of a Nissan Altima slammed head-on into a fire truck that was parked Sunday in the 1300 block of Congress Street, Southeast, about 8:30 p.m. Officials said there were 10 people crammed into the car, the 31-year-old driver and nine children, ranging in age from 2 to 11 years old.
