Card Locked?

I tried to take a pic tonight and it told me that the card was locked. I thought that somehow I filled the card up so I tried to delete a pic and the same message popped up. I cannot find the owner's manual to my camera. Does anyone know what could be the problem? I haven't messed with the settings. My camera is a Samsung L200 if that matters. Thanks for any help. My son's first day of tee ball is tomorrow and I really don't want to miss out on that great photo op!

Go in the menu system of the camera and poke around to see if any settings need to be changed. If nothing you still need is on the card, then try doing a format on it to erase everything and see if that helps.

I've searched all settings and can't find anything remotely close to it. I need the pics on there as I have about 20 from a family gathering that I haven't uploaded yet. :frown:

Are you able to remove the card and put it in your PC? If so, try doing that to get the pics off and delete the other stuff.

You're a LOON :)
Is it the card itself? I think they have a little thing on them you can slide to protect the pics.

Ugh. I uploaded the pics and chose to delete pics when done. It deleted all but 28. I tried to delete them in the camera and it's still telling me that the card is locked. I tried to format it and it's telling me that the card is locked. :tantrum

:yeahthat: Just like the old floppy disks could be locked, so can SD cards.. it's usually a real small piece of plastic on the side of the card that can slide a VERY small amount.. one way is locked, the other unlocked.
