The penalty's :bs: and I hope the appeals board drops it or significantly reduces it.

They just got rid of a start-and-park team for a while. If Long were a Hendrick or Roush driver, the penalty wouldn't even be close to half of that.

Harsh, yeah I agree, but c'mon here. How "Long" has the Cup series been running 358's??? Decades, and to break THAT rule is pretty stupid!

They shoulda known that 454 BB wasn't gonna pass inspection... :sarcasm:

Nascar has NO Rules, they will fine , suspend , whomever whenever and wherever they seem fit ! :sarcasm: & :smack:
