"Casting" with Chromecast

Has anyone ever used Google Chrome and Chromecast to "cast" a PC desktop to multiple locations within a building? Is it easy to do?

You don't actually cast anything. A link is sent from the PC/smartphone to the Chromecast dongle, and the dongle then goes to the Internet to find and display the link on the TV.

Don't know if you could command multiple dongles all at once.

Okay, I may have been confused. I remember seeing something about using the casting feature built into Google Chrome.

I won't be using an smartphone or tablet so the Android app will not work. Looking at some of the other links that popped-up, it appears that I do have to use Google Chrome if using a PC.

I've used it at home but almost always to cast videos from YouTube on my laptop or phone to our big family TV.
Pretty easy, actually. It just doesn't happen that often.
