HappyCats!!! Tomorrow....

Hi!! :howdy:

HappyCats Feline Adoption group would like to invite everyone out tomorrow to the Hughesville Bargain Barn for our weekly Feline Adoption Fair.

HappyCats is a private feline adoption group that rescues cats and kittens from the shelter. All of our kitties are fostered in private homes and are current on all vaccinations, spayed or neutered, free of parasites (internal and external), tested negative for Feline Leukemia/FIV, and are microchipped. We have a permanent spot in the White Building on the lower level and we hold cat adoptions every Saturday from 10 - 3.

Come check out our new kitty jungle gym all decked out with our pink and purple cat tree!!

Can't adopt a kitty? No problem, we accept donations and have handsewn kitty kushions, homemade cat nip toys and featherwands for sale.

We have some really great kitties that are ready to find their forever homes! Won't you come see them tomorrow?

Thank you!!!!

Thank you to everyone who came out to the Bargain Barn today. We had 3 wonderful adoptions and are looking for more next weekend.

I know that with the bypass it is a bit confusing on HOW to get to the Bargain Barn, but it is really easy and great because there is NO traffic zinging by, therefore you can get in and out without putting your life in jeopardy!

Again, thank you to the wonderful people that made donations (they are ALWAYS appreciated) and/or adopted a kitty.

Hope to see more of you next weekend!!

I have 2 or 3 boxes of canned cat food, about 60 cans. Could I drop something like that off to your organization or while you are at the Bargain Barn?

They were just bought within the past month and I have found that my cat will ONLY eat Tuna Flake Dinner. :drama:

I'm sure they would be happy to take it, but if not, you could always contact S.M.A.W.L. or A.R.F. All of these organizations are great, I would love another kitty but the one I currently have is "king of the house" and doesn't like other cats or dogs.

I'm having attitude problems in this house right now with a certain feline, check out the cat forum. I wouldn't dare bring another cat in the house right now.

WOW! How generous!! Yes, I would love to take them off your hands!! Because I do this on my own (no funding, other than donations and adoption fees) any donation at all is MOST appreciated!!

If you could bring them to the Bargain Barn next Saturday 10-3 that would be awesome. I can pick them up, but I work full time as well, so meeting up could be tricky. Just pm me if you would rather me pick them up.

Also, I am sure that the bigger groups could use some of the food too, so if you wanted to split it up that would be ok too. I would appreciate any that you are willing to give.... THANK YOU!!! :flowers:

And thank you. I hate to see the food go to waste.

Thanks for the kind words  ...It's not easy, but definitely worth it!! If there is anyone interested in helping out (fostering or hanging out with me Saturdays at the Bargain Barn) let me know!

Can't wait to meet you! I started this in September. Got the spot at the Bargain Barn in November. Since September I have adopted out 25 cats/kittens. Not bad for a really small organization. I don't try to get in over my head. I only go rescue if someone gets adopted and I think a little differently than the typical rescues out there, so hopefully with a fresh mindset (my husband calls it "thinking outside the litterbox" :lmao: ), we will have lots of success. :cartwheel

:lmao: Love it!

You will have success. Care fore the critters is the first imperative, and you've clearly got that.

See you soon.

Edit: I wasn't going to post my web site because it's not up to date, but what the heck. katzenengel.org
