Cat Groomer

tired and content....
Anyone know of a place in St. Mary's that does cat grooming? Petco doesn't have a cat groomer right now and St. Mary's Vet doesn't have the grooming place in there anymore. Thanks!

I was talking to one of my girlfriends the other night and when she called to make an appt for one of her cats she said that they said they no longer have a cat groomer and aren't sure when they will be getting another one.

All Kinds Vet Hospital in Callaway does grooming now. Jody, the groomer who used to be at PETCO, works there now. They do cats.

Anyone know of any cat groomers who do "home" visits? One of our kitties has a nasty knot on her back (near the tail) and won't let us get near it. She usually lets me pick her knots out of the hair around her neck, but won't let me touch this. She doesn't travel well, so was hoping I could find someone reasonable that would come to us. She generally lets the vet do anything to her when she won't even let us brush her! Go figure!

might want to take her to the vet if she won't let you touch her...there could be a sore developing under all that fur that you cant see and it getting infected...eventually will make the cat sick....a couple years back there was a cat in another neighbor hood and it had a lump of hair on its side...and you couldn't get near the spot...well i went through heck and was able to move the hair and see that it was one of those thistle things in there and it was making her raw and very infected...plz have it checked...just in case....

She's strictly an indoor kitty, and she lets us touch it, but just not brush it or try to "finger" comb it out. She absolutely hates to be brushed!! :lmao: It doesn't appear to be sore or bothering her. I don't see her sitting around licking at it or anything. She is due for a check up anyway, so will probably take her to the vet in the next week or so. Thanks! :smoochy:
