Cat loves TP roll

Do they make anything to cover & protect the TP roll?
Our cat destroys roll after roll of TP. We try to keep it in the cabinet, but the kids forget to put it in there pretty often, and we have shredded TP all over the house. I'm going to go broke buying TP!!!

Most of the time, mine didn't mess with it if

a) they couldn't reach it and
b) it didn't unravel because it was put on the roll the opposite way.

Scratching boards work, but you need several. They're just trying to fulfill a need of theirs to scratch, and TP does it very well.

Hang a fake rubber snake over it.

How about shutting the bathroom door when done?

Won't work... explaining would take too long, just won't work.

There must be some kind of TP protector made for this kind of problem?
I looked on PetCo's website but couldn't find anything.

They have a HUGE scratching post - it's called the couch. :lmao:

Then open the door, kick it's ass outside, and when it learns to straighten up, tell it they can come back in, till then, they are now outside kitty :yay:

Didn't someone recommend leaving rags soaked in Pine-Sol around bushes to keep cats out? Just soak some rags in Pine-Sol and drape them around the bathroom.

We have two cats. Only one is a problem. MY cat is very well-behaved...
It's my son's cat who eats the TP.

Hmmm, sounds like the cats are in charge at your house.

Uh-Oh...
Is this going to turn into one of those "You're a bad pet owner" threads...?

I've never been in a house where this wasn't the case.

I agree! I don't think there is really any way to "train" a cat.
Basically, you get what you get, as far as mischief goes.

For instance.... My dogs are not allowed on the beds, and they know that, and they respect that rule. The cats, however, spread out on the beds like they are Greek Goddesses. I shoo them off every now & then, but I really gave up long ago because it's a losing battle...

They don't care if I shoo them off of the bed. It's just a minor inconvenience until my back is turned again...

My cats think I am the sofa every time I go to sit down one of them gets in my lap and wont leave me alone no matter if I am eating or if I am sleeping they think they belong in my lap.

I wonder what they will do when I get a dog as they have never been around one in there life as of yet. I have a 12yr old cat and a 5yr old cat.

aawww... they are sure to be afraid at first.

I'd say introduce them slowly, and give your kitties a safe place to hide!
My son's cat was afraid of the dogs at first, but now she treats them like the annoying riff-raff. :lmao:

There are some kitty gang members in my neighborhood.
They fight so loudly at night I sometimes have to close the windows.

I can't put my lil girls out there!!!
