Cat nap?

...through extensive observation and painstaking record keeping, I have found that 'cat nap' is a distinct misnomer in our home. It implies that most of the time is spent awake with brief periods of snoozing.

One of them just got up from a snooze on the kitchen table where the sunny spot is, obviously put off by being awakened by how I closed the door and, just now, he put out the monumental effort to make it... all...the...way...upstairs to his king size bed, climbed up...and...laid down.

His face is buried in his paws.

Mine are all passed out on the deck. :lmao:

If I opened a can of tuna they would all be scratching at the screen to come in, and then would go right back to sleep after they ate their fill and licked their paws off.

I  cats.

...woud pass out in the can and the other two would eat around him.

Narcoleptic. Maybe he has apnea?

Nah. That'd take too much effort.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one that is constantly awakened in the middle of the night by a cat that slept all day. (too bad for ALL of us)

The last thing that I did before I left for work today was to wake up my tabby from a peaceful nap under the dining room table.

It's only fair, after the number of times that she's woke me up at midnight by jumping on my head, chasing her tail, howling at the door, or knocking something off a table.
