Caterpillars

Hate em. The Gypsy Moth Caterpillars have been dropping out of the trees in front of the garage by the thousands. Fortunately, I sprayed for ants 2 days ago with Bayer ant & termite killer, and it seems to work real well on them too. They just walk thru where I sprayed, and they die in a few minutes. Gots little carcasses all over the place.

Next will be the stupid oak flowers falling..... can't wait.... my driveway looks like the desert with oak tumbleweeds rolling by....

Yeah.... They seem to be a bit worse this year than previous years. I've noticed a lot more tent caterpillars this year too, in the cherries tree and such.

Yup, they be fugly.... There's a caterpillar that pops up in the tall grasses, it's white with black stripes, kinda woolly, long spikes front and back. If you touch it, it BURNS like CRAZY!!! It's as bad as getting a bee sting. Never did find out what they were...
