Catholics Reject Rules, Poll Shows

This is not restricted to the RCC - it is prevalent in modern day Protestant teachings as well:

Vatican surveys find Catholics reject sex rules

So, where is "Christianity" heading? Stick with what the Bible teaches and be a bible-oriented Christian, or just go with the worldly flow and do it your way?

I particularly noticed this oxymoron of a paragraph:

"The church's core teachings on sexual morals, birth control, homosexuality, marriage and divorce were rejected as unrealistic and outdated by the vast majority of Catholics, who nevertheless said they were active in parish life and considered their faith vitally important."

Consider their faith vitally important, but rejecting the core principles of their said faith.

So if the Bible is outdated and unrealistic, where does any "Christian" hang their hat?

Just can't have it both ways, people. Catholic, Protastant, whatever.

And these CINOs are the ones the media trots out to say Catholics support Obama and are Pro-Death. They are no longer Catholics having excommunicated themselves.

I have used CINO as "Christian in name only" many times in the past. I realize this poll reflects German and Swiss churches, but IMHO, the Germans sold their collective souls 80 + years ago. With the Swiss being forever "neutral", I have to wonder if they ever collectively had a soul.

There are a couple of generations who reject the core teachings, but there is a new generation of Catholics who have seen that the ways of the world don't work. We are teaching our children diligently about Jesus Christ and His Holy Church, warts and all. We have taught them to differentiate between the men and the doctrines. We have taken them to daily Mass for years, hoping that they learn that spending time with Jesus Christ is the most important thing they can do each day. We will fail in some areas, but I would rather fail in ways of the world than in matters of God.
