Spoken like a true atheist. I don't believe everything, or do I disbelieve everything. I have what we call "faith" A non believer could not grasp the concept of faith. Therefore, it is difficult for any non beleiver to try. I realize that some believe the end is near. "The end is near when you cannot tell the difference between the sexes". Well, the end could be near for many reasons. Slip on the ice and hit your head. Car accidents, heart attack, etc. As for the end being near for all of us at once, this is possible too. Massive solar flares, huge volcanos becoming active, comet striking earth, etc. There many TV shows and books written about events that can wipe out mankind. But, I have faith that all will be okay. It is faith is what drives me.

Some say a person without faith, is a person without a soul. Whether that is true, I don't judge. I am sure there will be many on this tread who will give it some thought and will develop a conversation about it, both pro and con.

And if you had a large tornado coming straight toward you, who would you call to for help? The neighbor next door? Many summers ago, I had faith I would be okay. I could see it a few feet above my head. I had no time to run, or do anything. It was just there. There was little to no warning at the time. I could see the deep rotating green just above my head It was actually kind of beautiful. But highly dangerous. I've never see a green like that. But, I hope I never will again. Had it touched down, my whole neighborhood, including myself would have been wiped out. It was a wide, large tornado. And we were under it, looking straight up. For those of you with faith keep your faith. It works!
