Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) is launching its Federal Impact Aid survey for parents. CCPS receives additional funding from the federal government for parents/guardians who are active duty military or work on federal property in Maryland. The funding is called “Impact Aid” and helps to decrease the impact of federal activity on school district operating budgets.
In prior years, CCPS sent home paper survey forms to all students for completion. This year, the form is electronic and connected to ParentVue. Parents/guardians who do not work on federal property or are not active duty military do not need to complete the survey. Only parents/guardians who work on federal property or are active duty military should complete the survey.
The survey is linked here on ParentVue. Parents will need to complete 10 steps in order to submit the survey. Directions are posted here on the school system website. Deadline to complete the survey is Jan. 17, 2021.
