Not that the hysterical sheeple will even click the link - they don't want real information, they just want to do what their Democrat overlords and the TV tell them to do.

Well what do you know ... I guess I was correct in saying the the flu was a coronavirus renamed to COVID to create the scam and instill fear.

I typed in their search box: CDC flu Data Tracker. It doesn't list one in the results, but these are.

Research Use Only CDC Influenza SARS-CoV-2 [aka COVID] (Flu SC2) Multiplex Assay Real-Time RT-PCR Primers and Probes

Frequently Asked Questions: Right of Reference to the CDC Influenza SARS-CoV-2 [aka COVID] (Flu SC2) Performance Data for Manufacturers and Test Developers

The Flu does not cause lasting nerve and lung damage like Covid dies, nor is it a coronavirus.
I’m not saying, at all, that the response the US showed Covid was justified. But to call it the flu is like calling a pickup truck a motorcycle. Yes they’re both vehicles but they’re completely different.

A better analogy might be like comparing getting shot in the leg by a .223 and .22LR. Yea you could die from either. Yea you probably won’t die. Yea they’re about the same size bullet. They’re not the same thing though.

You have now shown your complete lack of intelligence.
Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus.

In addition, it's the effing CDC that calls it a flu.

You just showed your complete lack of reading comprehension. I was saying the flu isn’t a coronavirus. Yes, Covid is a coronavirus that is most likely a mutation of MERS. It has similar attacks but not nearly as severe, which is why it’s spreading much more successful than MERS.

Back to your reading comprehension problem, this part might help:

Your link was discussing “FLU SC2.” You jumped on the flu part and thought the CDC was calling Covid the flu. They were not; they were referencing markers that were a combo of Covid, Flu A and Flu B.

Take a second to actually read the CDC website before trying to insult someone’s intelligence.

Oh shiat. I better self isolate and start wearing a face diaper then.

Hey. Better plug your phone in. Battery is getting low.

Again, I already mentioned that the reaction to Covid was over the top. However, it absolutely is more severe than the flu and absolutely has lasting permanent nerve and lung damage. How you want to handle it is completely up to you. I’m mindful of it and also recognize that life is full of risks and I’m living mostly the same way I lived prior to Covid. I’m not over here fearing it but I’m also not spreading misinformation and then insulting other people’s intelligence when I don’t take two seconds to actually read what I’m linking to.

Also, I appreciate your concern about the battery life. The zigzag means it’s plugged in and charging.

The flu doesn't cause many of the complications Covid does. Again, 3 people I know have it (1 from Charles, 1 from St. Mary's, 1 from Calvert) One has died, one has been in ICU for 2 months, one was just released from ICU after 3 months and is in a Rehab Center to learn to walk again. I've never heard of the flu causing this.

Did you mean to quote me? Because you’re reinforcing what I was saying....the other guy was the one trying to say it’s just the flu.

I was agreeing with you. I've argued with him before about this.

Oh gotcha.

I’ve had one family member die from Covid complications and one friend lost a parent. I have several other friends still dealing with life altering complications months later. (Before we go down the “yea but they were probably unhealthy to start with” route, one of them was a runner who used to do marathons and is now struggling majorly to do a mile).

I also have a couple friends who completely shrugged it off like it was nothing.

Damn you folks know some horror stories.
I assume you are correct in saying that some people have permanent lung damage from it.
Some but not all and not those in the majority.

I don't know anyone who actually dies from just the Corona. I know a person who had lung cancer and died from Corona, I know some older people in the nursing homes who died from it and old age. Gratefully most everyone I know who had the corona had a mild case for a few days and they are fine.. I don't know anyone who has had permanent damage from it and i thank God for looking out for those.

I get tired of hearing that. One girl I know is young and healthy. She was hospitalized for weeks. Nobody is "perfectly" healthy". There could very well be something wrong and you just don't know it. How many fall over from heart attacks/strokes who appeared to be and thought they were healthy. When you hear of someone dying, someone will say "oh they had an underlying condition". As if that makes it okay.

Jim Fix was a runner and he flopped over running and died in a ditch...
5 to 7 thousand folks die everyday. We ain't getting out alive.....

Saying it is a Corona virus doesnt make a virus in itself any worse or minimal, the first SARS from the early 2000s was brutal, luckily it mutated itself out of existence .

I thought this one would've done it already, it still might as there is signs it is mutating.
